In New York State, PLC was selected to provide statewide training using the NYSED model; and our Data Triangle monitoring tools were built to align with the tenets of the NYSED approach. The Data Triangle Surveys
The Data Triangle Protocol is a collection of 3 surveys - the School Performance Scan, the Family Engagement Survey, and the Student Voice Survey. Together these allow leaders to:
- Measure internal systems and practices of schools
- Assess the perceptions and insights of families
- Provide an accurate indicator of student views and their insights on structure, instruction, and learning processes
